Not that there are any global warming denialists (is that a word? is now, as a word is merely an utterance than conveys a meaning), but, my oh my, are we no paying attention or not?
It’s often said that humans need to see the speeding train bearing down upon them before they take action. See this picture? There’s an engine and caboose in there, as well as a whole load o’ freight cars in there if you take a close look.
I see it this way: I live in Michigan and my property value has dropped - big time. If I wait until the east coast is under water, and the Great Lakes rise a bit, then I’m sitting on some prime property and will make a killing. I think Michigan is set to be the next paradise. So, I hope you’ll understand why I stand outside my house in my underwear, with a big grin on my face spraying bottle after bottle of Aquanet into the air (not to mention my hair ain’t goin’ no where no time soon).
