I noticed that your post, if linked from my desktop icon, omitted the left hand side of the paragraphs near the bottom of the article. When I linked through the title of the post, the paragraphs were complete.</p> <p>Re a local issue of erosion, when I was fighting construction of the Warm Springs Dam back in the 70's, I learned that the Dry Creek watershed was the second most eroded watershed in the U.S., due to sheep grazing. The California Dept. of Forestry estimated that Lake Sonoma, created by Warm Springs DAm, would silt up within 50 years.
